Common questions
The bubble jumps around even when I'm parked.
The phone needs to be mounted to the rig, not just sitting on the dash. Vibration from idling, wind, or someone walking inside will move the bubble. Try the Smart Re-Zero option in Settings → Leveling, and re-zero on a known-flat surface before relying on it.
My watch doesn't show up next to my phone.
The watch needs to be paired to your iPhone in the Watch app, on the same iCloud account, and have the TrailerTilt watch app installed. If you just installed TrailerTilt, give the watch a minute to receive the app — open the Watch app on iPhone to verify it's listed under "Installed on Apple Watch."
Leveling never reports "LEVEL."
Check Settings → Leveling → Green Threshold. The default is 1.0°. Absorption fridges want tighter (around 2.0°). If you've increased capacity above what your rig actually has, the app will report level when you aren't — set capacity to match your rig's real tolerance.
iCloud says "signed out" but I'm signed in.
Open iOS Settings → [your name] at the top and check iCloud → iCloud Drive is on. If iCloud Drive is off, CloudKit sync (Sites & Rigs across devices) can't run.
I lost my sites.
Sites sync via your private iCloud database. If you signed out of iCloud, they remain in the iCloud database — sign back in on a device with TrailerTilt installed and they'll re-appear. If you deleted them in-app, they're gone (no remote backup).
How do I export my data?
Settings → Data & About → Export Sites. Produces a JSON file you can save anywhere via the share sheet.
Reporting a bug
If something crashed or behaved wrong, the most useful thing you can send is the output of:
iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements → Analytics Data
Look for the most recent TrailerTilt-* file and email it as an attachment.
